SCOPE OF WORK
The 19th is seeking a part-time contract marketing consultant to create, publish, and measure social media and search ads that promote our journalism, social media profiles, newsletters, and membership program. This 3-month contract position is for 5 hours per week, from March through May 2022.
DELIVERABLES INCLUDE
- Publishing 5-7 advertising campaigns per month that serve provided monthly audience goals
- Conceiving of, writing copy and selecting file visuals for ads
- Creating or updating ad automations using Zapier
- Monitoring campaigns weekly, adjusting settings to maximize ROI
- Reporting KPI data on campaigns in a Google Sheet monthly
- Identifying 2-3 data insights and/or industry trends monthly to apply to future campaigns
SKILLS REQUIRED
- 3+ years of experience producing social/search ads for a newsroom or nonprofit organization
- Excellent advertising copywriting skills with an eye for selecting complementary visuals
- Ability to analyze ads metrics and draw conclusions from outcomes
- Familiarity with FB Business Manager, Google Ads and Zapier
