- Wyoming has enacted a law banning abortion after six weeks of pregnancy. The law has limited exceptions, only allowing abortion after that point if staying pregnant presents “imminent peril that substantially endangers her life or health.”
Abortion rights supporters have filed a motion challenging the law in a state district court. Wyoming’s Supreme Court has struck down other abortion restrictions because the state constitution specifically protects residents’ right to make their own health care decisions.
