Christina Bellantoni

Christina Bellantoni is a former contributing editor. While at The 19th, she was a journalism professor at the University of Southern California and the director of the USC Annenberg Media Center. Before joining USC in 2018, Bellantoni was an assistant managing editor at the Los Angeles Times focused on politics. She was the first person on the LA Times masthead to have a baby. Before returning to her home state of California to work at the LA Times, she spent 13 years in Washington, D.C., in a variety of roles, including editor in chief of Roll Call, political editor of the PBS NewsHour and as a reporter covering state and local government, Congress, the White House and campaigns. She is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley.
