Jamila Wood is our product fellow. Prior to The 19th, they interned for The Absalom Jones Center for Racial Healing and journalist Jacque Reid, and was a Meta HBCU News Fellow at Scalawag Magazine. They are a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and a master’s candidate at Georgetown University.
