Jamila Wood is a former Frances Ellen Watkins Harper product fellow. Before The 19th, they interned for The Absalom Jones Center for Racial Healing and journalist Jacque Reid and were a Meta HBCU News Fellow at Scalawag Magazine. They are a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and Georgetown University.
