Former Frances Ellen Watkins Harper Product Fellow

Racquel Bethea is a former Frances Ellen Watkins Harper product fellow. Before The 19th, she spent almost a decade teaching technology, journalism and media studies in North Carolina. She was also a media consultant working with local businesses to grow their companies. Racquel is a graduate of Bennett College with a bachelor’s in journalism and media studies and holds a master’s in journalism innovations from Syracuse University.
